The box is sold empty but you can fill it with all kinds of stuff.
The box is approx 8" x 6" x 2.5" exterior dimensions and it has an interior depth of approx 1.875" and comes with a hinged lid.  
The box is made from high-quality WALNUT with an insert in the lid for a beautiful piece of Maple wood(light-colored wood).  The Maple insert can be personalized with names, dates, logos, monograms, or a special message. 
If you're giving this box to a golfer, the box is large enough to hold one dozen golf balls in their sleeves. The golf balls are not included in the box.
This box can be given to Best Men, Groomsmen, Friends, Business Associates, etc... Once the golf balls are gone, you can use the box to hold jewelry, trinkets, or just about anything.
The box has felt feet for protection on any hard surface. The box does NOT have a lining of any kind.
